Slurry pump

RP wear-resistant rubber slurry pump

Principle overview

Driven by an electric motor, before starting the pump, the pump and the suction pipe are filled with slurry. When the impeller rotates at high speed, the energy is transferred to the slurry through the blades. At the same time, due to the centrifugal force, the slurry moves rapidly from the center of the impeller to the outer edge of the impeller, completing the conversion of mechanical energy to liquid energy. And through the diffusion of the outlet, the conversion of kinetic energy and pressure energy of the slurry is realized. The pressure head of the pump is formed. At the same time, the above process forms a relative vacuum at the center of the impeller, so that the slurry continuously enters the pump cavity under the action of external pressure to complete the slurry transportation.

Equipment features

◎ Unlike the metal pump casing, the rubber lining of the RP-type rubber pump casing not only has excellent wear resistance, but its good elasticity can also absorb and buffer the impact force of the slurry. Use softness to overcome hardness and achieve satisfactory anti-wear effect;
◎ It has the advantages of stable operation, energy saving, low noise, cost saving, high efficiency, easy maintenance and durability;
◎ The maximum concentration of transported slurry does not exceed 60% (by weight);
◎ The temperature of conveying slurry is -40℃ to +70℃.

Scope of use

The RP type rubber pump is suitable for handling abrasive slurries or corrosive fluids containing solid materials, exceeding the scope of application of metal and other types of pumps.
Metal dressing and smelting plant: in the grinding cycle, hydrocyclone feeds ore (including a stage of classification cyclone), tailings, concentrates and intermediate products are pumped, concentrated and filtered to feed and discharge, and various slurry pumps are transported.

Power plant: tail ash or slag transportation, coal slurry transportation.
Sand and gravel plant: sand and water supply for sand and gravel transfer, mining, various classification and dewatering equipment, with remarkable wear-resistant contrast effect. Coal preparation plant: heavy media classification screening and transportation, coal slurry transportation.
Chemical plant: chemical liquids, acids or alkalis, slurries, sewage treatment, etc. at low and medium temperatures. Water conservancy projects: dam construction, riverbed silt removal, sand and gravel classification, etc.
Paper mill: clay pulp, paper pulp and wastewater treatment, etc.
Ceramics and glass factories: porcelain clay and sand and gravel transportation, cyclone feeding and wastewater treatment, etc. Steel plant: transportation of slurry, oxide scale, corrosive liquids, etc.
Places with oil and chemicals should be specially informed to us.
