Flotation Machine

Principle Overview

When the impeller rotates, the pulp in the upper and lower impeller chambers generates centrifugal force under the action of the upper and lower blades and is thrown to the surroundings, forming a negative pressure zone in the upper and lower impeller chambers. At the same time, the pulp on the upper part of the cover plate is sucked into the upper impeller chamber through the circulation holes on the cover plate, forming an upper circulation of the pulp. When the lower blade throws out the pulp to the surroundings, the pulp at the lower part is replenished to the center, thus forming a lower circulation of the pulp. The air is sucked into the upper impeller chamber through the suction pipe and the center tube, mixed with the sucked pulp, forming a large number of fine bubbles, which are evenly dispersed in the trough after the cover plate stabilizes the flow, forming mineralized bubbles. The mineralized bubbles float to the foam layer and are scraped out by the scraper to form the foam product.

Equipment Features

â—Ž The impeller has backward-inclined double-sided blades, which can realize double circulation of slurry in the tank;
â—Ž The gap between the impeller and the cover plate is large, and the air intake is large;
â—Ž The impeller has a low circumferential speed and a long life of wearing parts;
â—Ž The forward-inclined tank has a small dead angle and a fast foam movement speed;
â—Ž The air intake is large and the energy consumption is low;
â—Ž The wearing parts have a long life;
â—Ž It is conducive to the flotation of coarse-grained minerals.

Special tips

â—‡ Mechanical stirring, self-absorption, self-absorption of slurry;
â—‡ It can be combined with the JJF type mechanical stirring flotation machine to form a combined flotation unit as the suction tank for each operation.
Scope of use
It can be widely used in the selection of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals, and is suitable for roughing and scavenging operations in large and medium-sized flotation plants.
